My journey into product design started in an unconventional way. After graduating from OCAD University’s Visual Communication program, I took a bold step and started my own café restaurant in Midtown Toronto. As the business grew, so did my team—and my curiosity about other career possibilities, especially in design.

While managing my restaurant, I built an online portfolio to showcase our brand, which led to consulting opportunities with other small business owners on online strategies.

Then the pandemic changed everything. I made the decision to sell my business and pivot into product design. Within just two months of freelancing, I landed a role at Loblaw's affiliate, T&T Supermarket, as an in-house product designer. This marked the beginning of my in-house design journey, which has since brought me to Sonder. Starting as a Senior Product Designer, I’ve grown into a Product Design Lead, shaping innovative solutions in the hospitality industry.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about dancing, hiking, and swimming.
